CareMed was launched in 1989 by a travel organization with many years’ experience in the field of international youth exchange. Since then, our company has been managed by insurance professionals and each of our key staff members has had valuable exchange experience abroad.

We offer special premiums based on an average length of stay for the full visa period and the coverage can be limited to the maximum visa requirements if applicable.

Academic Year Program
CareMed Travel Insurance has been developed predominantly to meet requirements of High School participants: J1-Visa regulations are met - school sports and school driving exercises are covered. Insurance for family members to be at the bedside of the insured is available.

Language Courses
Weekly premiums allow an exact calculation of the insurance period. The choice between comprehensive insurance policies and Health Insurance only, with or without deductible, guarantees a premium which best fits the student’s budget.
